Great Barrier Reef

The Great Barrier Reef is the world’s biggest structure made by living organisms, can be viewed on spaceship. This huge reef system composed of over 2,900 individual reefs and 900 islands stretching for over 2,300 kilometers over an area of approximately 344,400 square kilometers, off the coast of Queensland Australia. The “nearest land” as described by MARPOL, is the boundary off the north eastern coast of Australia extends around the outer edge of the Great Barrier Reef.
